Speech Therapy Services
“The limit of my language is the limit of my world.” ~ Ludwig Wittgenstein
This clinic offers comprehensive bilingual (Spanish/English) evaluation and treatment services for children and adults of all ages.
Services are offered in person at the clinic in downtown Caldwell, and now services are also offered through telepractice. Click on the Telepractice tab on the menu to your left for more information.
We can start with a free screening and consultation, then if necessary we can schedule a full evaluation. I can email you the New Patient Packet of forms or I can hand you a folder with the packet at the clinic. You can skip the free screening if you'd like to just proceed to the full evaluation.
Please keep in mind there is a $15 No Show fee (if you don't show up to an appointment without canceling or letting me know in some way -phone, email, etc.). Voice mail or email is sufficient to notify me of a cancellation at any time prior to your scheduled appointment.
This clinic accepts Idaho Medicaid and Medicare. For Medicaid billing, you must have a doctor's (or physician assistant/nurse practitioner's, whoever is your primary care provider) written referral/order on file for speech therapy services before the start of services. This should be from your primary care provider assigned by Medicaid (in other words, a Healthy Connections referral). You can give them my clinic information and they can either fax the order to me and/or send the referral directly through the Medicaid system on the computer.
I am also required to verify your Medicaid status prior to the start of service, especially to make sure we don't have to do any pre-authorizations, etc., so please give me the name and date of birth of the patient prior to the start of service for Medicaid billing. If you already know you have a Developmental Waiver or an Aged/Disabled Waiver then we must do a pre-authorization with Medicaid. If you're not sure, that's ok, that's why I do the verification/status check with Medicaid to find out what we need before the start of services.
If you have other types of insurance, or if you have Medicaid as secondary coverage and have some other type of insurance as your primary coverage, I'm sorry that I do not currently accept health insurance at this time. However, I am able to provide you with a "super bill" that contains all the detailed info and procedure codes necessary and you can provide this documentation to your insurance provider for coverage. They will reimburse you directly. You're still responsible for direct payment to SaluGea Therapies and please keep in mind insurance coverage can be very limited for speech therapy services, so please be sure to keep in mind it is your responsibility to check with your insurance to see if they cover speech therapy, and what their limitations are, etc.
Feel free to call me or fill out the contact form to send email with any questions, and for a New Patient Packet of forms (includes a price list).
